FRANCE: CREATION OF TRAMWAY LINE

The consortium led by the NGE group, via its subsidiary TSO in collaboration with EIFFAGE, was chosen after a public call for tenders to complete the construction of 5.5 kilometres of platform for the SUD lot on the 16.2 km of the future Caen tramway.

The works covered by the SOUTH lot extend from Caen station to Grace de Dieu on the future T3 line and to Jean Vilar on the future T1 line.

The project includes the studies, the removal of the 2 rails and the overhead contact line of the current TVR, which will cease to operate as of 1/01/2018, the demolition of the platforms, the supply and implementation of the platforms, stations, tracks and switches and the new overhead contact line, as well as all urban developments and mineral paving.

Commissioning and inauguration in July 2019
