TSO, in a joint venture with Orascom Construction, completed the construction of the track work package on the LRT 10th of Ramadan project in Egypt. It is the first line to connect Cairo to the New Capital, passing through the cities of El Obour, El Shoruk and Badr.
The scope of work includes 66km of ballasted double track, 10km of single track in the depot and 11 stations.
This LRT line will connect the station of Adly Mansour (Cairo metro line 3) to the central station of the New Capital.
